Dallas Women’s Foundation, the world’s largest regional women’s fund, is the 2018 recipient of the Pioneering Partner Award. The Foundation is being honored for its contributions to the Dallas community consistent with NCJW’s mission, exhibiting strong leadership and an emphasis on collaboration with diverse groups and individuals.

  At the center of Dallas Women’s Foundation’s philosophy is a core belief that investing in a woman creates a ripple effect that in turn lifts her family, her community and her world.

  Since its inception in 1985, the Foundation has funded over $37 million in grants promoting Economic Security, Health and Safety, Education and Leadership, while empowering women’s philanthropy. These grants create opportunities, give voice to issues facing women and girls, unlock resources that improve education and quality of life, and cultivate women leaders of the future.

  In addition to grants, the Foundation recognizes political advocacy as an important means to bring about systemic change. Board members visit elected officials to share research that can affect state, local and business policies and use social media updates to keep supporters informed.
