Community Organizing for Social Justice Action – past event
“Who is the new woman? … She is the woman who dares go into the world and do what her convictions demand.”
Hannah G. Solomon
In today’s challenging political environment, how do we make a difference and not just a statement? Through the wisdom of community organizing, this workshop will explore strategic campaign development and how to build power to have the greatest possible impact in our own community. This is a great opportunity for those both new and more experienced in social justice work to come together to learn about best strategies for community organizing and envision the next phase of our community’s social justice endeavors.
Open to the entire Dallas community, the workshop is hosted by NCJW Greater Dallas Section and JOIN for Justice as a part of their national community organizing training series. To learn more about the organization and training, visit www.joinforjustice.org.
