Advocacy & Voter Registrar Training – Sept 6, 2017
NCJW of Greater Dallas is offering two training sessions in how to become a more engaged citizen. Both sessions will be on September 6, 2017 and will take place back to back. You are welcome to attend one or both sessions.
There is no charge for this event, and all are welcome.

10:00 to 11:00 – Advocacy Training
Natalie Roetzel Ossenfort, Texas Director of Alliance for Justice’s Bolder Advocacy program, will educate us on what is legally permissible and what is forbidden when advocating with non-profit organizations. She will also offer tactics and techniques for how to advocate most effectively.
11:00 to 12:00 – Volunteer Deputy Registrar Training
A representative from the Dallas County Election Department will lead us through a training on how to register people to vote. Upon completion of the training, you will officially be a Volunteer Deputy Registrar and will be authorized through 2018 to register Dallas County residents to vote.
