LEADERSHIP TRANSITION AT NCJW DALLAS

NCJW Dallas announces a planned leadership transition as Executive Director Shannon Morse concludes her tenure with the organization, effective June 30, 2026. We are deeply grateful for Shannon’s dedicated leadership and the many contributions she made to strengthening our programs, operations, and community impact. We wish her continued success in her next professional chapter.
To ensure a seamless transition, the executive committee has appointed Leslie Freed Novick as interim executive director for a six-month term. Leslie brings decades of nonprofit leadership experience, including serving as executive director of the El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center and chief philanthropy officer at the Arizona Theatre Company. She will work closely with our staff and Board of Directors to lead day-to-day operations and continue advancing our mission
“Leadership transitions are a natural part of every strong organization. With an experienced interim leader, a dedicated board, and an exceptional staff, NCJW Dallas is well positioned to continue advancing our mission and serving our community. We are grateful to Shannon for her service and excited to welcome Leslie as we move forward together.”
— Kim Schonwald, NCJW Dallas President.
