WHO WE ARE
Rooted in progressive Jewish values and with a 114-year history of service, NCJW Dallas works to help all women in the Greater Dallas area thrive through education, advocacy, volunteerism, and community partnerships. We listen to and work with local partners to understand and respond to community needs while raising awareness and advocating on issues that affect women and their communities. We believe that when women rise, the people and communities around them rise as well.

OUR WORK IN THE COMMUNITY
West Dallas Diaper Pantry Is Now an NCJW Dallas Program
The Diaper Pantry at the West Dallas Multipurpose Center is now an established addition to NCJW Dallas’s program portfolio. Through North Texas Giving Day, our community generously contributed more than $36,000 to support the Pantry and its continued work.
Making the Diaper Pantry an established program allows NCJW Dallas to provide a consistent source of diapers, wipes, and other essential supplies while building a sustainable program that addresses an ongoing community need. It also strengthens our ability to create lasting impact for children and families in West Dallas.
Food + Fit = Fun: First Presentation at Nexus Recovery Center
Food + Fit = Fun (FFF) brings practical nutrition, physical activity, and wellness education directly to women in our community.
For the first time, FFF recently brought its program to Nexus Recovery Center, where participants learned about nutrition labels, kitchen safety, hydration, and physical activity—and put that knowledge into action. The class sampled healthy recipes, discovered new foods such as quinoa, and left with recipes, ingredients, exercise tools, and practical resources to continue learning at home.
Participants asked thoughtful questions, shared their experiences, and connected with one another in a space grounded in compassion, dignity, and encouragement.
It’s what community impact looks like: sharing knowledge, building confidence, and creating opportunities for women to thrive.
