Recommended methods for being effective – visit legislators in person at their offices, telephone them, and send postcards. Look for organizations and individuals that share your views and whenever possible work with them. Legislators respond best to large groups in their districts. Also, posting your point of view on social media such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram can help amplify your message.
