Higher Ground: NCJW’s Domestic Violence Campaign champions economic independence for women as a way to help eliminate domestic violence and create a more stable financial foundation for all women to build upon.

Please join us for a panel discussion on the realities, obstacles, and issues standing in the way of women who have been victims of domestic violence as they seek to find safety and to achieve independence. Learn what we can do to help ensure that no woman has to choose between financial security and personal safety.

Healthy Snacking from 1 to 100 Nutritious & Satisfying ‘Noshing’ for All Ages

From toddler to teens, to young parents and seniors, we all look for a “nosh” from time to time, usually to get an energy boost while on-the-go. NCJW Dallas Section’s own Adrienne Lee, certified Nutrition Educator and Natural Chef, will provide an informative and delicious presentation and cooking demonstration featuring organic, unrefined and nutrient-dense ingredients. In this class, we will learn everyday strategies to help us find the time to plan ahead and prepare tasty snacks we can have on hand, for busy parents and their family members of all ages.

Cost: Free of charge for NCJW members; $5.00 for non-members, payable at the door.
